My husband and I drove to Alabama to visit family for Thanksgiving and just got back yesterday. It’s a long drive and we stop after 8 hours driving going and coming, get up the next morning and continue the trip. While I love being there, I HATE THE DRIVE. The last few years I have become a horrible passenger, having to close my eyes going through large cities and flinch when semi-trucks pass. My husband, bless his heart, is a saint and puts up with my craziness, but said before we go on another long trip he wants me to ask my doctor for something that will calm my nerves!!!!!!
Great trip, but I’m glad to be home.

Ride along with the Bear family on Thanksgiving Day as Brother and Sister learn about all the things they- and YOU-can be thankful for…including faith, family, and the huge feast waiting for them at the end of their journey to Gramp’s and Gran’s.
This book went out in the mail yesterday to my niece, Kate, and another one to her cousin, Camille, because besides being a great young children’s book about the Thanksgiving holiday it also teaches about the things we need to be thankful for, not just at this time of year but everyday. Those things are faith and family.
