Wrath (Wrong #2) by L.P. Lovell and Stevie J. Cole

Book Description:

Published: August 25, 2015

***Warning. This book contains extreme violence, and scenes that may upset some readers. ***

Jude Pearson could just as well kill me as kiss me most days. He was my captor, my living hell, and yet, he became my saviour, my heart. Stupid. He’s heartless, conditioned to feel nothing, and so I ran… straight into the clutches of his enemy. Joe Campbell wants Jude to suffer, and I just became a pawn in a very dangerous game.

Joe has broken me in every way, everything that I once was stripped away, and in its place is festering hatred and a rage so cold I feel nothing else. I have one purpose. Revenge.

Love makes you weak, it makes you irrational. She was collateral, completely innocent when she was unwillingly dragged into my corrupt world. With the damage Id already caused her, I couldn’t let her love me, so I let her go, and now…he has her.

No matter where she is, she will always be mine. This man has taken every-fucking-thing from me, and he has the last thing that matters to me. I will kill him. Slowly. Joe Campbell better run because the devil is fucking coming for him.

Sometimes two wrongs can make a right.

Our Wrath binds us, but it may also break us.

Review  –

This is the conclusion of the Wrong series and is even more dark and violent.

Joe Campbell has kidnapped Tor so get back at Jude and does the most debasing and sadistically  horrible things to her before “letting” him find and rescue her. While he had her he gave Caleb, Jude’s younger brother and only family he has a choice-he can rape Tor or he can die. He refused to touch Tor so Joe killed him. Because of this both Jude and Tor are out for blood and hunt Joe down to kill him.

After being rescued, Tor realizes she pregnant but because of the time frame knows it is Jude’s baby. She chooses not to tell him right away, which comes back to bite her, but instead asks Jude to let her be the one to kill Joe.

Eventually Joe is killed, by Tor, and they are both arrested and Jude confesses to the murder because he doesn’t want his baby born in prison and raised by strangers. I won’t tell you exactly what happens but there is a deal made and Jude is freed and  he and Tor have their HEA.

Although everything works out in the end, this book is very dark and violent so if tread carefully if you decide to read it.

I thought this was an excellent series and the sex is not part of the story just for sex sake but is an integral part of the story,
