Mina is beyond broken. She has had a run of bad luck when it comes to men. Abused and scared both physically and emotionally from her last master then tossed out, Mina has given up on the one thing she has always wanted – a safe kink relationship.
When Mina’s therapist tells her that he would find her a good Master, little did she know that she would eventually end up with Brian Sloan.
Brian is a psychopath, killer and sociopath rolled into one, and has his own horrific past to contend with. He keeps his demons in check by assuming the role of enforcer at the manor which serves as a training ground for submissives and needs to inflict pain to keep his rage in check.
When Brian firsts meet Mina he surprises himself when he doesn’t want to hurt her, he wants to protect her, and make her his. She calms his violent urges but will Mina be able to get past her fear of him and have a meaningful relationship? It reminds me a bit of the classic BEAUTY AND THE BEAST fairy tale only much darker and with sex thrown in.
